I’ve enjoyed every season of MLP so far to some degree. While some have been overall stronger than others, I don’t think there’s been one that I’ve felt was a letdown, or one where I get a sense of fatigue, or one where I feel the show has lost its way, or whatever idiom message boards are using to complain about the series currently. I can’t help but feel that I’m putting way too high expectations on this movie as I’m going into it. Yes, I’m using the release of more Equestria Girls related content to talk about Flash Sentry again. I can tell you’re shocked.    Forgotten Friendship came out this weekend, and if you know anything about me, you know that I’m always keeping an eye out for my boy Flash whenever new Equestria Girls stuff comes out. Twilight: Things were a bit awkward with him at first. Apparently, he had a “thing” for that other Twilight from Equestria. He seems to have gotten over that now, and it doesn’t really come up anymore. Since then, I’ve been able to get to know him better. He’s nice to be around with. I help him with his homework sometimes and working together with him on the play was a lot of fun. I’m glad to call him my friend. A quick look back at MLP S7 so far

This hasn't really happened to me before, but there's something about the current season of My Little Pony that has me second-guessing myself a bit. Going with my gut, I'd call it good overall, though pretty rough around the edges, with already several episodes that are more obviously flawed than usual in my eyes, to the point of not being able to ignore them. Usually, it's not until later in the season where I expect to get the "draggier" episodes. Still, taking just a quick glance at the broader reception of the season, something I haven't done in a while, I've noticed many throwing around words like "great" and "amazing" so far. I don't fu
